Here are some of my sewn projects. Each of these were sewn by hand and as you can see I went with a cat theme lol:)
This first piece was a gift I made for my grandma, a small fold-out “pocket shrine.” I was inspired by the idea of religious pocket shrines people carry with them, and I wanted to create something similar, but more personal. It became a little keepsake for both of us, something meaningful she could hold onto and carry with her!
This one is a little cat zipper pouch, and It honestly took me a while to finish, mostly because It was my first time sewing in a zipper. Once I figured it out though, I got the hang of It. It turned out really cute, and I’ll probably use it as a little coin purse or something small like that.
This last one is actually two separate projects. The longer cat is a microwaveable kitty heating pad, and It turned out pretty cute if you ask me. I was still figuring out stitching at the time, so I used a stitch that wasn’t quite strong enough to hold the flaxseed inside so if I redid it, I’d definitely go for more secure stitch. The second one is a cutesy black cat charm with a bit of embroidery. I hadn’t practiced embroidery much before (you can probably tell lol), but it was fun to experiment and try something new!
